Snapshot
Join Mainframe’s Growth & Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineering pod and ship code that directly moves the metrics that matter — acquisition, activation, and revenue. You’ll prototype growth experiments, wire up data pipelines, and automate the RevOps stack so our AI teammates reach more users, faster. It’s a 12-week, US-time-zone internship where you’ll work full-stack, pair with marketing and product, and learn how technical GTM actually happens at a frontier-tech startup.
The Role
- Build growth experiments end-to-end. Code A/B tests across landing pages, signup, onboarding, and pricing flows; ship quickly, measure rigorously, and double-down on wins.
- Instrument and own the PLG data stack. Add event tracking, dashboards, and attribution so every experiment rolls up to clear KPIs (ARR, RES, CAC, LTV).
- Automate GTM workflows. Stitch APIs between CRM, marketing automation, billing, and analytics to keep leads, trials, and cohorts in sync.
- Optimize performance & UX. Profile and improve FCP/LCP on marketing surfaces and in-app touch points so prospects hit “time-to-value” faster.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Sit inside the Growth squad but pair daily with Design, Backend, SalesOps, and AI/ML teams to ship multi-disciplinary projects.
- Demo your impact. Ship one capstone project and present results (uplift, learnings, next steps) to founders at internship close.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a BS/MS in CS, Data, EE, HCI, or similar
- December 2025 - June 2026 grads preferred.
- Comfortable in TypeScript, React, Node, SQL, and rapidly prototyping in low-code tools when speed > purity.
- Working knowledge of analytics & experimentation stacks (e.g., PostHog).
- Familiar with REST/GraphQL APIs and common GTM platforms
- Data-curious: you enjoy debugging funnel drop-offs, writing the SQL to prove it, and turning insight into product.
- Clear written and verbal communicator who can explain a growth idea to both engineers and marketers.
Nice to Haves
- Prior startup, founder, or hack-project experience where you shipped something users touched.
